Ep. 42 - A Conversation on Miscarriage and Stillborn Loss with Special Guest Christina Ford
Hey there, mamas! Happy July AND July 4th! 🇺🇸
We have a really wonderful episode today for you, and we hope you will be able to listen. Our sweet friend, Christina Ford, is joining us at our table today to share her story and experience with miscarriage and stillborn loss. We are so grateful for everything she was willing to share and be open about. This is co-mom-unity, y'all. Hearing from other moms, learning of each other's struggles, and coming alongside one another to encourage, cry with, or simply sit and be heard. If this is a road you have personally walked, we grieve your loss with you, and hope you feel validated, seen, and encouraged as you listen. And we rejoice with Christina as well, as she is due annnnnny day now (like, literally this week!!) with her FIFTH baby!
Christina and her husband Dana just recently moved from Nashville to Missouri. Dana was the head coach for the TSU men's basketball team here in Nashville, and in the spring, accepted the position as head coach for the Missouri State University men's basketball team. You can read more about them and their journey in this article that came out a couple days ago. Christina is the founder of the Rebound Foundation, an organization that works to help women and children rebound from domestic violence. Please check out this foundation and the amazing work they are doing! We are so very thankful and honored to have had her on the podcast and for sharing her story with us!
From our "I'm Totally Into..." segment:
Courtney is totally into the book, Sacred Privilege by Kay Warren.
Jennifer (and her kiddos) are totally into this Mashball game. Perfect for indoor fun and to take on vacays!
Have a great holiday with your people this week!! Have a great week, mamas!
