Ep. 52 - Navigating Your Child's Dreams with Special Guest Tracy Jones
Happy Monday, mamas! We are starting this week off right with a discussion on dreams. No, not the times your child wakes you up with a nightmare (although that would be a great topic one day!), but deeper than that -- your child's life dreams that they have for themselves. We're honored to be joined by Courtney's friend, Tracy Jones, a mother of four who has walked a road of childhood dreams with her oldest and is STILL walking that road with all of her children.
Here are a few pictures of Tracy's children so you can get an idea as she speaks about them.

Jennifer recommended this book if you find yourself with a child, friend, or yourself facing the loss of a dream: Shattered Dreams by Larry Crabb. And here's a PSA: Remember, get our book club book and read with us! Tell Me More by Kelly Corrigan. That episode is coming up very soon!
Jennifer found this article on All Pro Dad about Managing Children's Dreams with some really practical ways to best support your child's dreams.
And from our Totally Into... segment:
Tracy is into the "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" movie about Mr. Rogers & the Every Moment Holy book--she says it's a must-have for everyone to encourage us in just about every situation we may find ourselves in!
Jennifer LOVES the Rust-Oleum Gloss Meadow Green Spray Paint . Always nice to have a recommendation for an easy home improvement help!
Courtney has been reading The Joy of Missing Out article by Hayley Phelan all summer, trying her hardest to enjoy not always being aware of everything happening. For all you with FOMO, give JOMO a chance!
We hope you have a GREAT week and that you are able to share with us what you heard in this episode that hit home. Have you ever watched your child's dream change drastically? Or maybe that same thing has happened to you. It's a tough road! So thankful we have others alongside to walk it with us. And make sure you're back with us next week! We're celebrating our FIRST BIRTHDAY in STYLE!
